Cory Lessner, M.D. is the Medical Director of Millennium Laser Eye Centers in Sunrise. Dr. Lessner treats thousands of patients with moderate to severe eye prescriptions and oversees one of the most comprehensive LASIK centers in the country. He is also responsible for educating the public and a large network of referring doctors about the latest technology for laser vision correction.
Having performed more than 15,000 vision correction procedures, Dr. Lessner was one of the first vision correction specialists in 2005 to offer the Intralase technology. He is one of two surgeons in Florida to offer the Allegretto Wavelight system. There are less than 100 specialists in the United States with the same technology together within one location.
Dr. Lessner also takes great pride in being named the official LASIK surgeon for all of the professional sports teams here in South Florida, which includes the Miami Heat, Miami Dolphins, Florida Marlins, and Florida Panthers. Dr. Lessner also finds his profession to be gratifying to be able to provide life changing experiences to firefighters, police officers, military, pilots, teachers, lawyers, eye physicians and many other great professions.
Dr. Lessner has had the privilege of being Medical Director of the Beacon Eye Institute in Fort Lauderdale, as well as medical director and president of The Vision Group, PA, a distinguished refractive surgery center in Central New Jersey. He has also served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (U.M.D.N.J.) in Newark, New Jersey.
